About me
My name is Maggie Holmes and I have been a trained celebrant since 2022. I am a mum and a proud grandmother to three wonderful grandsons. Throughout my career across a variety of industries, one thing has always remained at the heart of my work: providing exceptional care and service to others.
As a Celebrant, I believe a good funeral is far more than a ceremony. It is a space to honour a life, acknowledge our loss, and gently support one another through grief. Funerals matter because they allow us to come together, share memories, and say goodbye with love. There may be tears, but there can also be laughter, warmth, and moments that remind us how much richer the world was with your loved one in it.
When someone dies, there is so much to organise at a time when everything feels overwhelming. My role is to make this difficult period a little easier. I will meet with you — and anyone you wish to include — to talk through the ceremony in a calm, unhurried way.
Together, we will explore your loved one’s life: their stories, their humour, their personality, the moments that shaped them. Understanding who they were helps me craft a ceremony that truly reflects them — personal, meaningful, and filled with love.
